REFUNDS AND EXCHANGE POLICY

Please familiarize yourself with Perth Building Materials’ Refund and Exchange Policy. Always review and confirm building products and material during the checkout process to ensure the correct delivery is made to your delivery address.

Faulty Products

In the unlikely event that a delivered product (including special order and made-to-measure items) is faulty, we will exchange the product or provide you with a full refund. Notification of any defect must be made within 10 days of the product being delivered to you. We reserve the right to inspect all returned products prior to agreeing to any part-refund, full refund or product exchange. Faulty products must be advised in writing either by email within 10 days for a full refund (including delivery charge).

Alternatively, collection of the product can be arranged through our nominated carrier, where the cost of the return will be at our expense. We require the return of the products within 14 days of the refund request being made. To arrange for the product(s) to be collected, send an e-mail to sales@perthbuildingmaterials.com.au with your order number and details of the product to be returned. We will either dispatch a replacement or process the refund. All refunds will be made to the account used to purchase the product.

Damaged Products

Variation in Products

All our products are nominal size and can vary slightly from the actual listed sizes especially in Timber profiles. Due to recent hightened demand, manufacturers have imported machinery from overseas and due to the same reason standard sizes of MDF profiles may be slightly affected.

No refunds will be given unless the product is damaged or it is shorter than advertised size.

All insulation Products including Bradfords Anticon, Glasswool Batts are experiencing serious raw Materials Shortages to meet current the supply  and demand. Prices are subject to change along with the product lists as per the current inventory and made not be fully updated on our website. However, the actual product supplied in all cases will meet the Australian Standards. In event an similar approved product available is supplied that meets the Australian Standards, no refund shall be given. Standard refund policy will be applicable on all stocked and supplied items.

No variations should be experienced in Plasterboard Fibre Cement, Steel Framing product

Products No Longer Required

In the event that you wish to return a product that is no longer required, we will provide you with a refund less a 25% restocking charge (if applicable) and excluding any delivery charges, provided we are advised of the proposed return within 14 days of the product being delivered to you. Alternatively, send an e-mail to sales@perthbuildingmaterials.com.au and we will arrange for the collection of the product by our nominated carrier. There will be a minimum charge, payable by you for this service, which may increase significantly dependent on your location and product type, usually the same delivery charge that paid at the time of ordering. Your refund will be processed within 14 days.

Due to the storage requirements for powders we will not take these back.
