Description
OPAL plasterboard is made using special heavier duty lining papers and a high density gypsum core. combined with a OPAL features heavier duty lining papers which add to the impact resistance. The surface liner paper is pre-coated using Level+ Technology, creating the whitest and smoothest premium surface finish that is UV resistant and easy to clean.
OPAL delivers the ideal combination of superior sound insulation, impact resistance, improved fire resistance along with Level+ Technology which assists with handling glancing light applications. OPAL is particularly suited for walls and ceilings in residential projects. Its high performance is particularly relevant for: bright, exposed large open living, dining or ‘alfresco’ spaces; high traffic areas subject to wear and tear, such as stairs, rumpus rooms, corridors; and noisy spaces needing extra sound resistance, such as bedrooms, media rooms and children’s play rooms.
OPAL has been independently certified by Global GreenTag to GreenRate Level A, recognised by the GBCA for Materials and VOC credits.
